I saw Hoppers (no spoilers)
my partner doesn't like going to see movies in theaters. so when they said they wanted to go see Hoppers in the theater, I was pretty shocked and jumped on the chance. I can't recall the last time I was in a theater for a movie off the top of my head. but I digress.
despite issues with Disney as a company, I really enjoyed this movie. I already thought it looked silly, but I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. if you enjoy movies like Princess Mononoke or Fern Gully, I think you'll enjoy the themes and characters of the movie. we were also lucky to not have a large amount of people in the theater with us. that's not saying I don't enjoy that type of experience I remember going to see Dragon Ball Broly in theaters on the opening night and the entire room cheering and roaring every time a character powered up.
But anyway, I recommend going to see this movie in the theater if you're able to. I laughed, I got a little emotional, but the themes strike close to things I care about. And I was with someone I care about. I felt happy. tell the people in your life that you love them.
